Is my donation considered an investment?

Your donation is not an investment, but there are perks to your contribution. Screen credits are given to those that make a considerable contribution. Please see our donation page for those details.

When will the film be completed?

We are pushing to have the film completed by the end of 2024 or sometime in 2025. That being said, documentaries are known to push release dates when surprises come up that change or intensify the narrative. That can be a good thing.

So the film gets completed, then what?

After the film is completed, then it's time to make a deal with a distributor, and there are many ways of doing that. This will be the fun part!

How are you going to find distribution, and is there any interest in this now?

There has been great interest in Eva and her story, but we want to make sure her story is told in the best way possible. We are so very grateful that she chose us to help tell her story and to be in contract with. We will most-likely explore the film festival market, or just go straight to a distributor. We are very confident in getting distribution because the film is truly inspirational.

I don't see a huge social media presence on the internet about this story. Why is that?

We are at the beginning stages of production. Therefore, we don't really have a reason to have social media at this time. Our primary focus is to tell an important story and have it ready for the next stage. All of the social media and promotional material will most-likely be provided by the distribution company that we decide to go with.

Are you part of a bigger company or are you independent?

Sweet Magic LLC is an extension of Young Dempsey Productions LLC which is basically the same company. Both companies are operated and owned by the same owner, film directer & producer Drewin B. Young. We are strictly independent and like it that way.
